You would have a lot better turnout if you did this on a weekend where the CBA was not having a tournament.

Hey guys to answer a few of your questions. This is an open tournament so anyone can join us. This is somewhat the classic for a dogfight series that was fished out of Sullivan’s this entire year on Saturday afternoons. We had a great turn out. We didn’t require a certain amount of tournaments to be fished to be able to fish the championship. We done this because we were one of the only (maybe the only one) tournament that I’m aware of that pays out 100% of the pot each tourney. Our payouts were higher than most other tourneys due to this. So the $110 entry fee is what will generate a good payout for the classic. We look forward to a great turnout.

As far as scheduling around the CBA we only had a select amount of weekends to pick from. And it’s my understanding that there are only roughly 25 boats in each CBA tourney so it shouldn’t affect us this time.

We feel this is going to be a great opportunity that ANY boat can win.

Our tournament is a 5 fish bag in a short amount of time. Earlier in the year we had 18 pound bags. Last couple tournaments it took 12 to 13 pounds to win. So I’d say the average bag for the year was 14 to 15 pounds and big fish was around 5 pounds on average.

It’s almost here everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday! We’ve bought some awesome trophy’s to give out as well. Contact me for any questions that I can answer. See you Saturday!!!
