Went back down to the dam today to see if I could get lucky again up in the locks... third cast I had another nice spot that was about a pound and a half...wind was blowing big time and it kept getting colder but I decided to hang in there...caught a few more fishing paralell with the lock walls in about 17' of water with the same watermelon-red finesse worm. you almost had to deadstick it and sometimes i just let it sit there and work it like a shakey head. Wind was blowing me around in the lock quite a bit and as it blew me out into the middle i saw a huge school of something on the depthfinder.. throwed in there and and hit the jackpot .. a whole school of spots that were chasing some baitfish around that had probably got blowed in the lock... probably caught 10 or so before I finally lost them.Some were just barely 12'' but a few were nice keepers.. finally couldnt take the cold or the wind anymore and left about 2 I have started using p-line flouro on my spinning outfit and man what a difference it makes.
