Skeeter175 and I launched below Nickajack about 7:30am in my boat. Fishing was slow...water temp was 48 and clear. Bait was scarce where I looked. Using spoon jigs, minnows, and crappie jigs we caught a smallmouth, several spots, 1 bream, 4 crappie, 2 yellow bass, and 5 white bass. Also tried a few large shiners with no luck...other than pulling it out of the fish's mouth the one bite I had. Skeeter175 nailed big fish of the day with a beautiful chunky spot on a silver buddy. Not the busiest day of fishing but it was a great day to relax with very little wind. All fish released.

David summed our morning up, so there aint nothing for me to say but, I had a great time. The weather couldn't have been better. No work, good weather, good friend. What else could you ask for on a Monday! David, thanks again for letting me tag along with you!

No Flip1up, I was after more smallmouth, spots, and bass. We fished for panfish after things slowed down just to catch some fish. I did see a boat fishing that hole you told me about though, and also a lot of sauger anglers jigging around. We caught the crappie, bream, and white bass at the other spot we normally find them...
