Got out today about 11 down below the Nick. Ran down to Burns Island and fished for about 3 hours. Water was about 2 to 3 foot below normal.. caught one spot about a pound and a half.... Ran back up to the dam and started fishing around the locks....I throwed a watermelon/red finesse worm very slow and as close to the walls as i could get... ended up with about 5 more spots that were anywhere from a pound and a half to two pounds, plus one smallmouth that was about two...I would get up right next to the lock wall and throw along side and shook the worm as slow as i could... the bites were very aggressive Probably the best winter fishing i have had yet.... bought some P-Line flouro and was very impressed with it...not a big fan of flouro but this could change my mind...beautiful day to be out
