I READ ABOUT NICKAJACK AREA ALOT BUT NEVER HAVE GOOD LUCK.I;VE READ OTHER GUYS HAVE GOOD LUCK. ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD TIPS OR SUBGUESTIONS ON THE AREA.

If you're just starting out up there I suggest working grass lines with a frog or SB untill you find some fish and then work a texas rigged 10'' worm or lizard around 'em. Last time I was out I trolled around untill I found a good school of baitfish. They're never too far behind them. If you have no luck on the grass try the rip raf right there in MCP. The added noise from the interstate will drown out your boat noise too. I love it up on Nickajack. I live in GA, but drive up there alot.

honkeytonker pretty much hit the nail on the head.this time of year i try to find schoolers,if i do find any i like to throw a top water like a sammy or spit-n-image also try a spinnerbait.if you cant find any schoolers try the grass like honkeytonker suggested.if the bite is off try a watermelon or greenpumkin finesse worm with a light weight or a grub the same color.running water flats and cave lake have been pretty good lately.hope this helps.

Yeah and come back and post a fishing report and let us know how ya did.
Hey Blazer was looking on my map the other day and I didn't realize how close Cave lake is to the Georgia line. It's almost in Georgia. I've caught a few good keepers out of a hole on that rip raf.
