Nickajack Racoon mtn.5/6

Fished Nickajack above Racoon Mtn. Ramp Saturday. Had a great day on the river until the boat traffic got heavy. I caught a total of 25 fish. 15 Bass and 10 Blue Gill. One bass 2.14 and another 2.0, the rest of the Bass were smaller. I caught the larger Bass on a 3 1/2 in.Silver/Black back Berkly Jerk Bait, and the smaller Bass and Blue Gill on an 2 in Chartuse/white Berkly jerk bait.

I didn't get on the river until @ 9 am. There were only 6 other boat trailers in the parking lot ahead of me, but when I pulled my boat out @ 4 pm, I counted 19.emoConfused

Sounds like a good day to me BeeBasser! thanks for the post. Was you using the ramp at Sullivans or is there one closer to Racoon mtn.?

There is a real good ramp at Racoon mtn. and it is not as crowded as Sullivans.

Is the ramp at Racoon mtn the one owned by TVA and that goes in at an angle?
