Went to Guntersville TN Sunday. Water was SUPER low and the flood gates had been closed and the wind was howling. Gave the fish a steady dose of grubs and small jigs for several hours and only captured a few small spots....then resorted to trolling crankbaits and the action picked up a little.... ended up with 4 smallies ( biggest two 15.5" and 17.5") and several spots (largest 15.5"). Tried crankin the same area without trolling, just drifting, and could not get them to hit.....crankbait had to be digging in!! Shad colored cranks in 9-13 feet of water!

We were there too, but on the lower end flippin and rattin....bite was reaaallll slow. Caught 2 fish and missed 3.

Hey wormhook, we saw a boat just like your partners come by and fish the mouth of the Sequatchie...looked just like his except I think it had a big block Merc!

Yeah, there is couple running around like that. We were with Gutbag in the Commander LOL!!

Good to see ya trolling. I love it and it produces some nice catches. There is a lot to learn about it but sometimes that will work when nothing else will. Where were you fishing? Along the bank?

We were fishing there yesterday too. That wind was something. We caught a mixed bag of bass, catfish, drum, and a couple of small striper.

We were a couple casts off the bank Jerdog........Just inside the bouys!! several places you can find where they have dredged the channel out and piled it up along the bouy line!!
