anyone know why they pulled it down lower than usual? will it be back up by saturday?

The site says that they are spilling until further notice. It is super low right now. At this rate, I doubt that it will be any higher by Saturday.

Typical when we get tons of rain, they can suck the bottom end of the lake out while its still high towards Chattanooga, the narrows by Raccoon Mtn keep it necked down. It will be down on the lower end until the rain lets up for a few weeks.

River is about a foot above normal full level right now at Moccasin Bend. It is nasty brown and flowing fast. I think it is predicted to come up some as they begin to spill more later this week in anticipation for another 1-1.5 inches of rain.
