It is not closed and will not be for the rest of the year, per Bill Rose, Mgr of the campground there. Just had a long talk with him last week. Great guy. They were to have everything done by now, but due to slower sales (from what I hear around town) they are a bit behind their ambitious plans. Shellmound will be rebuilt a little closer to the dam after Rarity has it's way with the land.... They will rebuild EVERYTHING says Mr. Rose. Feel free to call him at the campground down there.
