Went down to Nickajack yesterday. There was a TN Valley dogfight weighing in. Watched them weigh. Barnes won it with 15 something (nice bag). Dropped off sharply after that. Think 12 something got second. Several limits.

Went down to Nickajack yesterday. There was a TN Valley dogfight weighing in. Watched them weigh. Barnes won it with 15 something (nice bag). Dropped off sharply after that. Think 12 something got second (nice bag as well). Several nice looking limits were caught. I would have loved to have been able to fish but got called to take care of an elderly gentleman in Calhoun who is dying of cancer. I am glad I was able to make it over there to pay my dues to join the club. Had I fished, I would have been taken to school as I usually am when I fish tournaments. So, I doubt very seriously I could have given anybody any lessons. Apparently my post offended somebody. Very sorry if I did.

Chip -Im sure Chris was messing with you, no offense was meant. The Barnes Boys are having a great year on the Jack this year, I had 13.52 in 2nd and Parkhill had 12.02 in third. Harmon and Biffle won Big Fish with nearly a 7 lber. I wanted to thank you for driving down to turn in your paper work. We look forward to having you in the club.

If thats the case. I take back my apology. Class starts in two weeks. LOL. Just kidding. Doubt I will even get to go and try and figure anything out before the tournament. Seems the older I get, the less time I have to fish. Was gonna try and go today but it didnt happen the way I planned. Of course, this time of year with temperature swings, things change daily and rapidly. Alvin and I are looking forward to the club tournaments. By the looks of the limits yesterday, I can tell it is gonna be a very competitive bunch of guys. I would think conditions werent perfect yesterday. Blue bird, high pressure, seemed like very little wind.

You are right. There are alot of great fishermen in this club, I just cant believe how many teams we have. We will be pushing 35 to 40 teams. Its is going to be a great year for the Tennessee Valley Bass Club. Im sure you and Alvin will be glad you choose this club.
