How is the grass on Nickajack? My buddy and I were planning on coming down Saturday to flip, frog, punch if possible. We are going to launch at Marion County park, anything going on there Saturday?

Grass looked good to me on Sunday evening. Had some bites on a frog at dark but no hookups.

Ok as long as there is some grass to fish, thats all I really care about.

From what I saw anything 12ft or less had good grass in it. Decent size mats.

Mats on both sides of the river from above sullivan's all the way to the dam.

Not sure where Sullivans is but I was planning on fishing from the park to the dam, and up river a few miles too.

Then you'll have mats on both banks of the river.
