We put in at Sullvins about 6:00 & here comes a storm, I thought here we go agan. As it turned out just a small front. It cooled the whole night down. We fliped a jig & threw a toad, dark worked beter CMgrant threw a spro\ no luck we got 2 keepers & about 6 fish around thicker grass. some on a 10.5 worm red-T- riged & I wont say what he was throwin. The water was way down so it brought alot of the grass in to play. But man is good to get off the Chick for a change. Less p. boaters & you got to love that grass. I mean when a fish comes up through that grass & BAM!!! it's awsome. To me it's worth the trip for just one fish. And it's such a beautful lake. Flip got me to try the new zoom horneytoad hooks. At $1.39 At S.W. for two hooks I wasn't easy to sell, but they work. More hook ups the frog stays on & it seems to come through the water diffrent. I had been given some of the small springs that the hooks have on the eye, but of course now I can't find them. Ham.Sport shop on 58 hw. did have them but their sold out rite now. If your gona throw a toad do yourself a favor & try them. They come two to a pack & your not gona get hung up much on a top water as much. Good luck.emoCool
