Night fishing on Chickamauga 4-22

After an all day soccer tournament, my son wanted to go fishing. We got on the water around 9:00 and decided to stay close in at Harrison Bay. We started fishing very shallow. My son was dragging a watermelon 4" Zoom Dead Ringer and I was fishing a red shad Berkley Power Worm and a 1/4 oz black/blue Terminator Finesse Jig. Caught 1 keeper and a bunch of smaller fish between the docks. Caught my second and last keeper,(pictured) on the Power Worm. My son caught his all fish, (one of which is pictured) dragging the Dead Ringer from the bank into deeper water. He's 8 years old and begining to really like this fishing thing. Unlike the last few years, he never fell asleep and he didn't play his SP once.

Good job Pointer! You can tell by the smile on his face he had a blast! Will be glad when my lil girl gets started fishing and wants to go all the time. She is only 6 going on 19 but she gives it a good whirl. She gets bored if they aren't wearing it out tho.emoLaugh Great job and nice pics. thanks for the info.

My dogfight partner & myself fished around the same area as ya'll did & had a littlle better luck with a black & red & a black & blue wobble head spinerbait. Got some nice fish on pig & jig & watermelon seed lizard 5 & 6 in, before dark. 2jigs
