Night on the Chick, 8/.1/06.

Decided I needed to get a fix and go fishing last night. Nothing on the T.V. and the Braves have done so bad it is just not interesting this year. Got out on the water at 7:30 and headed up the WT. Nothing at first but a lot of jet skies and skie boats. Tried several things mostly plastic. Finally hit a point that had a few on it and managed 8 bass on the point including 2 small keepers. That little run was around 8 to 8;45 and than they just shut off. Tried several other areas but only picked up a couple more slicks. Went out to the main lake and had the same results. Fished drops and points with only a couple small ones on black T-rigged worms. Where are all the big fish.emoScratch Not much to report, enjoyed stretching the line but sure hope they improve by the 12th for our next Tx. I left at 12 midnight.emoSmile Jmax
