We will be having the first of 3 night time txs we will have for the '09 season. I just wanted to remind everyone that you will sign up at the ramp. The tx will run from 8pm Saturday until 8am Sunday. Sign-ups will begin at the Chester Frost parking lot around 6 or so. I invite everyone to attend this an open tournament and we will be giving away a boat-load of cash and prizes as always. Please let us know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing all of you there!

fishinvol, I guess either B/S found out a way to get the wife interested? ...OR... is still trying, either way you can't blame a man for trying! Just cut him a little slack!

Thanks for the warning!!!!!!!! These guys will run you over if you are on the water. better stay out of their way!

Night time is for loving. You guys have fun...
So I take it from Lances post and the fact that his wifes legs love each other here lately that either
A: Saturday is Fishinvol and his date night or
B: Saturday is his night at the Lucky Spa?

Want to remind everyone, that we are in the Summer season so pack plenty of Ice for the fish and rejuvenade. We like to keep as many alive as possible! Hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to move up in points!

While you are on the lake and the CBA TX is happening and a bass boat with a 200+ come by you with in spitting distance wide open LOOK OUT no kidding about how close they came to me in the middle of the lake!!!!! I know one bad apple doesn't spoil the basket, but you find one then you start looking for others. I have fished TX for years and I don't make a living at it, to run wide open passed someone as this guy did and Swindle did the classic a few years back. He got DQ. these guy out here don't. A couple of hundred dollars is worth it to them. I don't want to sound like all bass fishermen or TX fishermen are bad ,their not!!! most people are kind and curious on the water. I am 45 and been fishing most of my life out of a boat, but this guy scared me the worst than I have ever been in a boat.

I definitely would not say that all bass fishermen are like this. Sure there are some jerks out there but from my experience I've had a whole lot more recreational boats come extremely close to me and they put out 5 times the wake that a bass boat does. At night what you have to watch for are the really big cruisers that think a 4 foot wake is small.

i think there are just idiots in general on the lake some happen to be bass boats some are big boats and most are jetskis LOL

I've had boats come way too close to me at night before too, & it's no fun. But how did you know he was fishing the CBA? Just because they CBA was being held that night? And if your in the middle of the lake, your probaly in the middle of the channel. Not a good place to be if your woried about boat traffic. Bottom line the lake has changed. It's not like it was 20-30 years ago when we used to go out with our dads & it won't ever be like that again. (Too Bad, wish it was) I've just heard too many times guys blame things on turny guys,& they have no way of knowing if the boater that did thiswas even in the turny. Did he turn around & say what tourny. he was fishing?

The tx was a cba tx coming from Chester Frost , a long line of boats were coming out from there when I passed by. I was running 40 mph and staying very close to the red buoys to stay out of faster boats way and that didn't work for that red ranger. If my partner would have spit at that time , he would have come very close to hitting them. Like I said before ,I am not saying all tx fishermen are bad or all bass fishermen, just some people are idiots.

I would have to agree with you there! But by the same token we have all done things on the water that were probaly not too bright. But some guys just lose it @ the blast off. You realy have to watch it out there you never know who or what's coming around the corner. Like I said earler ( I wish the lake was like it was 20-30 years ago).

We wont be blasting off or weighing in the dark. Sorry for your encounter, sounds like Ramjack Scott to me!

sounds like someone needs to find another thread to emoBawl on.

i hope everyones getting pumped for the June 6th night CBA. i'm guessing it's gonna take 28lbs to win this one.

I expect some good weights as well with the full moon, yet we'll see what this front does to them. Its gonna be fun and I expect to see a good turnout.
