If you want bang for your buck in a boat. I can't imagine those phoenix boats could come with more in them. All sorts of good stuff. The are pretty up close too.

Josh Wafford just got a Z-8 and it is sweet. He is very happy with it. emoThumbsup Jmax

I went to Bass Pro in Sevierville today and they had a red and black Z8 setting out, it looked good. Two things that did bother me though. I had a boat builder with me and he showed me a couple of things that were disconcerting. One, at mid boat, feel the glass on the bottom, then the top deck, now feel the glass in the middle. Basically the side rail, it will flop with just your hand pressing against it. That is not a good feature if you run any rough water at all. The second was the two rod lockers. First off, they had plastic lids and were very flexible. If you walk on these lids and you will, the carpet will come lose. Secondly there were no rod racks with the boat. Most of the really well built boat companiesbuild them into the lockers.

All in all, for a list price of $ 31,000 dollars including dealer prep, a lot for the money.

Great boat for the price, check with Blake at Island Cove Outdoor Center he will get you set up.

Phoenix for sure.

Nirtos, either way you look at it are pleasing to the eye yet are still a Tracker built boat. Cheaper components go into their products. They last pretty good but not as well as a quality made boat like Ranger, Bullet, Stratos, etc... They are, however, kicking ranger's butt on the market due to the eye candy they present and the price. :)

If I were you...I'd settle for less look and go with a higher end manufactured boat. Those Phoenix's are really sweet for the price!

I'd encourage you to call Jeff at Phoenix 931-455-2014. The new diamond hull design is super sweet, and their standard package is UNMATCHED.

What...No Lollipop handed to you there? That dealership is at the top of my list along with Arrowhead.

You guys are really busting my bubble here. I have planned on selling my Tracker when my truck is paid off. I pretty much had my mind set on a Z8 Nitro. I've looked at all the info online and in brochures and I am hooked. Brilliant boat for the money. I could get a Z8 with a 250 Pro XS for about 33 grand. The equivalent boat made by Stratos or Triton is in the lower 40s. Oh well, maybe you get what you pay for. The people I dealt with when financing my boat through Tracker Marine worked VERY hard to get my %100 financing and payments just right so I felt a little bit obligated to do business with them. I was very pleased. Maybe I need to be looking into something different. Phoenix boats are very nice also. I didn't think Nitros were cheap built though! Very surprising. I guess if they pay KVD enough even he will say thats the best boat out there!

Walked into there shop yesterday and no one even acted like I was there. Then a dog runs from the back of the store and bites my leg twice. When I asked the owners daughter to please put the dog up she gave me a dirty look. So i walked out the front door. I thought that was very rude and unprofessional. Maybe you have different perspective on that......

Their dog bit you? Wow, I think I would have the same outlook as you, crazy way to run a business.
