O.K., maybe I am a little one sided. I do root for the Cowboys, but I am just about sick of the media pointing out any and every no call they can find on the Cowboys, not to mention the way the Lions are praising them on one hand but then pointing out how if this or that call had been called the game "might" of had a different ending. emoBang I watched that game, every second I was glued to the tube of that game. I am hoping against hope that Romo and the boys will finally make the big game. But I will say there was just as many "no calls" against the Cowboys as there was for the Cowboys. emoTskTsk One of the worst that stands out in my mind was one on Whitten where he was just about tackled as the ball was thrown to him. He came up with hands out looking at the refs like.."ReallY?, that was a no call?"
They seemed to let the teams play and passed up on several questionable calls. I was thinking all the way up through the first three quarters that the refs were strongly calling on Dallas but looking the other way on the Lions. I was yelling at the TV to make the stinking call on the Lions!!! Not until the forth quarter did it seem to even go the Cowboys way on the fouls called. Then for whatever reason the calls seemed to shift in Dallas's favor. emoCrazy Now that the Lions did end up loosing, all we seem to be seeing is how the refs missing a couple calls against Dallas might have changed the outcome of the game. emoBadLanguage No one is talking about the three quarters before that.
I sure hope this media hype does not cause the refs to focus more on the Cowboys in the up and coming game against the Pack. The Pack is my second most favorite team so really in this game I feel I can't loose. However if I have my way I hope that Dallas beats the pack and Rogers! The Pack is usually good about not playing foul heavy so I hope this one has less Drama then the Lions game when it comes to foul calling. Should really be a good one. emoThumbsup Jmax
