Just a follow up to a post regarding a break in to my boat. Uncle Bob's continues to break promises. I did not cancel my lease immediately because additional security measures were to be added according to the manager. The manager said not to worry because I would not be charged for the space until corrective action was taken. No security upgrades were made and for three months I was charged full rent. Then in November I got a nasty collection letter which later I was offerred a cancellation of Nov rent if I abandoned the space - which I did. Uncle Bob's is a big company and you deal with a NY law firm. The employee promises are worth nothing. This is not like any Uncle I have ever known. I would say their policy is Bah Humbug! That is my experience and maybe other people have had a better one. But just Beware! They did not cooperate with the police and stonewalled them in the investigation. Again Beware!
