emoScratch Thought we might see a couple reports from those who may have weathered the rain and went. I guess either no one went or no one is talking. emoRolleyes Anyone know the water temp and conditions down at Marion County area? Got the CFF there this coming weekend and was wondering if anyone would share. :(

Here at the Chick the water has gone over the banks in a couple places and is still rising. May have to rethink your fishing plans if your in one of the tournaments on the Chick this week end. All has changed. emoGeezer Jmax

High water will send the fish into the woods immediately regardless of the time of year. But, just as soon as the water drops just one inch, they're outta there, except for the small fish that do not seem to know better.

That is true in my opinion also but the Nick is usually controlled very closely at the Marion County end and may only differ but one foot at most. Looking at the TVA site it has not risen there above normal levels. I may go today and let you all know......a little. emoEvil Jmax

That is because the water backs up in the narrows @ racoon mountain. Flooded up here, normal @ sullivans.

Came past MCP about noon, and the water level was down about a foot from last Friday when I was there. The temp was 74 in the park then. Really muddy in areas where creeks run into the lake, like Running Water Creek at Hail town. Water level below the dam was up about eight to ten feet.
