Non boater looking for tournament trail to fish

Hey guys I have long debated tournament fishing and was wondering if anyone knew of a tournament trail that would be a good start for a non boater. I am open to any and have a pretty flexible schedule or if there is anyone looking for a non boater let me know and maybe we could go fishing sometime to see how we would pair up? Thanks a lot and tight lines .
