NRG another update .. wife made me go to Gatlinburg or boat would be back together today
Hey all .. I did nothing to the boat in 5 days off on Christmas break emoBang emoBang , the wifey wasn't having any of that ! Yesterday was in the high 60s to low 70s and where was I ? Stuck in horrible traffic in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for Hours. Was no signs of recession up there!
I did get to go to West Marine a store something like boaters world of by Hamilton Place mall, and BPS .. that was the highlight of the trip ... we bought a 2008 Chevy Uplander LT Mini Van with 20k on the odo on Friday .. and the wife wanted to go on a DAY trip to try it out .. oh speaking of buying it .. holly crap what a hard sell we got at Mtn View Nissan .. they were determined we WERE gonna buy a vehicle!
They just kept coming up wit a better and better offer , every time we said no they said ohh just give us 10 more mins .. that went on for 2 hours .. finally they offered to sell it to us at well below book, almost wholesale price, and gave us $1500 cash back as well to pay a small loan .. I was worn out , but at the end we ended up with a almost new Chevy for less than we were paying for the wife's last car.
Any way .. like I said I got nothing done to the boat .. until today.. Today I finished up all the glass work except the top of the foam boxes, I need to lay glass over the new foam, ( ran out of Resin ) and then Im ready to but the top back on the boat .. I should have it back on by Wed.
