Hey all got the top cap screwed down today in preparation for the warm weather tomorrow, I will have the splash well area , and transom cap glassed in.
And then if I get all that done in time , the top cap will be glassed down to the floor. Cut the drain holes, and install the new drains in floor.

Then all I have left to do is wait for glass to set in splash well, install splash well drain tubes. Then sand sand and more sand, in preparation for paint.

Anyone have a old deep cycle crankin battery/trolling battery that they don't want ... one that will still hold some charge ? That I can borrow or have , to do testing on the motor?

I have one but it wont hold charge.

You need tubes and the installer?? Just give me a call. I will drop them off and let you use them. I got to where I buy the tube by the 4ft section and cut them to lenth. Later man! You going to make me wish I never sold it to you!!!

Then we can figure out about the paint. If you are going to paint that maroon I gave you, a silver might go well with it also. I have some silver metalic also.

I have tubes already and the tool. Im going to use the maroon you gave me, for most of it, may do some air brush work on it too ?
It will be awhile b4 I paint though .. I have to able to buy the epoxy primer and the 2k Urethane Clear coat about $100 bucks quart of each hope thats enough ? , plus rent of the spray booth $50

Right now thats money just dont have to spend, so I will have to wait on that

Great news Sean, you have just about got it whipped, keep after it.

The boat , far from whipped lol .. even after paint, I still want to install new gauges, at least sand blast the steering wheel, or new steering wheel, lay carpet, paint the trailer, paint wheels or get new wheels, they are chromed but have some rust on them.
And several other bits of bling, like LED live well light, and storage box lights, new lid on rod locker and rear gas tank battery area

But the biggest things are the boat and motor, the rest may wait , other than carpet

I use kirker product and they are priced well. I can give you a site that I buy from. The expoxy primer is like $80 for both parts and comes as gallon, so you get 2 gallons for less than $100. Here is a motorcycle I painted for a guy with their produce from primer to the clear. This is the green I am painting my boat. and you see the metalic in it? LOL! You should see this in the sun. I also have some Orange that is full of metalic like this. Was going to paint. But It will probably be similar to the tank. His girlfriends nick name was small fry so I painted it on the tank. This is all paint (even the pinstrips and lettering) and when I was done you could not see or feel a paint line.
