NRG Boat update for the impatient types on here emoLaugh emoLaugh
Look guys I'm workin on it Daggum it , but your welcome to come see it anytime, I haven't been able to do much on it was too cold up until the last couple days, and if it wasn't too cold was pouring rain.
Yesterday I pulled the cover off and did some work on it .. ran new live well drains hoses, installed new 1100 gph live well freshwater pump and new 1 1/8 spray head in livewell new livewell drain thru hull fittings , all that I had bought right around Christmas.
I still don't have the top cap glassed to the bottom of boat, I will have to wait till weather is above 55 for a day and not raining, maybe the end of next week the weather will cooperate. I have the top cap just sitting one there at the moment. Have to glass the splash well area and cap that covers the transom, and the the cockpit area glassed to floor. Then Drill out Drain holes in Floor, and install floor drains.
After that gets done I can start sanding the top cap in preparation for paint, but even if I get it all sanded and ready to paint, don't have the money to rent the spray booth or buy the epoxy primer or clear coat that goes over the final coats of paint. Remember I got laid off !
I still have to work on the motor, new water pump, thermostats and a thorough going over, then sand an paint it
Then after all that's done still have to install jack plate ( when I get one ) , the carpet, trolling motor and new gauges, but gauges may wait for a while.
Between looking for a job and interviews I really haven't had time to even think much about the boat, its been a very very low priority.
