Well everything took longer this weekend than I wanted, but fiberglass is that way .. hurry up and wait.. better to wait than to rush and mess it up ..
I did get some real progress this weekend , but wanted to get further, I will take pictures later in the week when its all done right b4 the foam and floor goes back in
1. stringers made and glassed in
2. transom side supports made cut to fit, and glassed together and clamped ( old ones two 3/4 ply glassed together)
3. Main Transom Support arms Encased in glass 2 coats each,
4. transom got 4 more coats of glass on it
5. Cut out the floor pieces using pattern from old floor sections.
6. I got lots of glass on me. emoDoh
7. stepped on a staple from a piece of the old floor ( good thing I got that tetanus shot early in the year ) emoBadLanguage emoBawl emoDoh
8. Clothes lined myself on a 1x8 that was sitting on the boat scaffold the upper cap is sitting on emoBadLanguage emoDoh
But all in all not bad considering the temp doesn't get above 55 until after 10am and I have to have all glass done for the day by 4pm so that there is enuff time to cure b4 temp drops again, but the good part is the small pieces supports , floor sections can all go in my shop to cure after a couple hrs outside, I have heat in there!
