Well thanx the cold weather last week I got nothing done all week, today was prob my only shot this week to get as much done as possible.
I finished all the stringers, I had one small section left ro glass in on the center stringer, and modified the transom vertical supports, they where too tall cut some off, and re glassed that back in.
Got the horizontal supports on left and right side of the transom glassed up on both sides of 4 and have two more , that fit between the vertical supports to glass on both sides.
Then all I have left , is to glass over the fronts of all those and then glass them in place, clamp them up, then ad a layer of biaxal glass over all that to strengthen up. Then cut out the foam flotation boxes in each corner, and the battery box floors.
Then the foam goes back in and glass the floor back in, and then the top goes on glass the top down and done .. whew I'm tired already lol
All the transom supports will be done in a couple days .. I can do them in my workshop, but I will have to wait for another 55+ day to do the foam, transom supports glassed in , rear foam boxes and floor. Or If I can find a garage or building to finish up all this in, where I can bring a heater with me or has heat . hopefully I can talk my employer into this for one or two days ?? emoPlease
I maybe able to do some of it this week with a little help from the halogen lights and a electric heater, since its supposed to be I the 50s some this week
any way .. that's the latest for those who are following the saga of the NRG boat chop cut rebuild
Here are some pics from today, and a couple pics of my homemade temporary garage made from a billboard sign and a shot with the back open .. yep there is a boat under that big white blob emoBigsmile
