I just picked up another Nuclear Rod from Damon and wanted to share a few pics. I have several of his original XI-7's in various lengths and actions and have been extremely impressed with them. I was in need of a new topwater rod for throwing spooks, Sammy's, and LC gunfish and after talking with him, he said he had a new blank he thought I would like, well he was right! I never thought he could top the originals but this rod is even lighter than the originals and the solid black blank looks awesome!

If anyone is even considering buying a new rod, you would be insane not to take a look at Damon's rods.

I am buying another frog rod this weekend. Both of em have real cork handles. 7 foot 3 inch x/heavy fast tip ......

Nuclear rods are the only way to go. Not only can order custom colors you can order custom sizes too. Whatever you want he'll do it for you. I have somewhere around 18 to 20 of his rods ranging from first generation to the latest model(which is the lightest rod I've ever put in my hand) and love every one of them.
