I guess I just felt like ranting. I have said from the get go that this Obama care is going to kill a lot of jobs and might even close down some businesses. Got a call from my son who was getting as many hours as he wanted to work, but now they have all been informed that their jobs are going to 28 hours each because the company cannot afford the health care program. Now I know the supporters are going to scream that they need the care but that is not what is happening. emoBang Then on top of that my son who has a degree in Fiber Optics was going to start in Sparta at a defense plant using his degree but he also got a call that due to defense cuts their orders have been slashed and now they are looking at cutting help instead of adding. emoBang Now keep in mind all those jobs that have been added to support the Obama care program, the increase in government workers pay under Obama's watch while the rest of the country lost pay, the waste in money that has occurred, and the list goes on and on. That money that could have been used to support our defense is now going other places. emoBang This kind of crap is happening all over. I don't know how these people who need a job are going to find a decent job to work at. My wife is in HR and recently posted a job they had that was a decent job but not great. She was over run with tons of people putting in great resume's, many of which were way over qualified for the job. This just proves that there are many people out there without a job looking for anything they can get. emoDoh
Some of these places that had less then 50 people thought they would not be effected by the Obama care program are finding out that they are since the holding company has over fifty people. That in turn makes them have to cut people back to 28 hour or less in order to afford having to pay fines or pay health care. Again, I am not saying health care is not needed for these folks but the end results is they now have less of hours, less money, less income and are in worse shape then before. emoHoppingmad Now they are going to need assistance in government hand outs to just live. Who do you think is paying for that? WE ARE! Then lets not even go into the fact that the Obama Care insurance is worthless. It does not cover much at all and the dutiable is more money then the low end worker can pay out so in the end they still cannot use it. The only one who benefits from this is big brother government who now has more people to work for them to oversee this joke of a program and to invent new ways to tax us to pay for the program. It is no wonder some people are moving out of the US and giving up their citizenship for other countries. emoAngry Still got three more years of this to suffer through but by then it may very well be too late. I sure hope those who put this in office are happy with the results...I sure don't see it. emoMad Jmax
