Here are the 16 Republicans who just moments ago voted with Feinstein, Schumer and Reid to advance Obama's gun control bill.

If you are represented by one of these Senators, please get on the phone and let them know what you think.

Senator Alexander and Corker, Why do you feel you have a right to vote against the majority of the people you are suppose to carry the voice to Washington for... and Follow the will of Feinstein? Enjoy your last term This very well could be it...... You and Corker are Politicians who are voted in to represent the will of the people to the Government. However after sucking up to Obama you must now realize that this Country is doomed as a free Nation in July of 2015.. You are like so many others who get into office and feel you must now represent the government TO the People. I personally have no argument against background checks,,, But WE ALREADY HAVE THAT. EXPLAIN HOW ANOTHER ONE WILL WORK BETTER THAN THE ONE WE ALREADY HAVE IN PLACE. Just enforce what we already have.. The Problem is certain individuals among us who can pass any form of background and then carry out a terrorist act. It is the very distinct Profile that is as plain as day to see. I can not for the life of me understand why you misguided and out of touch supposedly intelligent people will not listen to reason. I can Explain a fix if you would listen. A fix that WILL WORK and is very simple to implement and Feasible.

Everybody better continue to stock up its getting deep and isn't looking any better. I to don't understand how another background check would be any different than the one we have now as long as this one is enforced

I emailed Sen. Alexander last night thru his website, and expressed my displeasure with his and Corker's alignment. Ialso mentioned that if he voted for increased regs on guns that I would work against him come re-election. Perhaps all of you who write your Reps should include the same message if you hadn't already.

I also pointed out that the guns used in the Sandy Hook shootings were initially obtained legally, the purchaser having passed established BCs in a state with traditionally strict "gun laws" (as were the ones used in Aurora, and Tuscon). Having said that, I question the wisdom of an adult who knows of a family member with mental issues giving said fam.member access to weapons.

I harass my GA Senators constantly about these issues. I previously read that both Isakson and Chambliss both voted "yea" for the bill to be debated in the Senate but both said that they do not intend on voting it forward from there. Come next week I will be keeping an eye on there votes VIA the U.S. Senate website and if they do vote it forward, I will be voting them out come election time.

I make sure to remind them that "I am your constituent and I vote. Please represent me." I also take the time to contact ALL government officials in the state of GA and have even sent several emails directly to Obama himself. Please take the time to let your voice be heard.

Yep I just sent Corker and Alexander an email letting them know that not only do we not support the new gun control measures but we also don't agree with any background checks.
