I have said it all along and it is happening as we speak, this crap is not going to work. Several small food chains have started cutting hours on all their employees to avoid fines and having to pay for health care for all their workers. emoBang The rule says that any company or business that has 100 or more full time employees must provide health care for it's workers. Many have said if they had to do that it would cause them to go out of business. Some have stated the costs of the goods they sell are going up 20 to 25% in order to pay for the costs. Many have just decided to cut hours on all employees to part time to avoid it all together. Some have decided to just hire outside contractors where they are not actually on the payroll for that company. They are just going to hire more worker and have each worker work less hours. emoAngry I understand the thought process but in the long run this Obama Care is going to cause all of us to pay more for goods and services, as well as make many people loose some of what little they have. More taxes, less benefits, higher costs, less coverage, more money to pay for more programs. I hope you who voted for "you know who" like what you are getting. emoHoppingmad Jmax

Good Lord! Tell that to the poor folks who are getting their hours slashed due to these crazy changes. It is changing all right, for the worse. We will still be paying them and now those people with hours cut will have to go on more government assisted programs which we will also be paying for. Also if those same businesses go out of business then anyone they employed will now have to draw unemployment, who the heck do you think is paying for that? Yea, maybe your right outcaster, lets just regulate our country right into poverty. The Obama Care program is nothing more then one big mess that is never going to work but we will spend billions in an effort to make it look good. emoBang I pray I am wrong but I know I am right, it is already happening. I know a paint contractor who has established a second company. Each week, his employees work 38 hours for company one, then work the rest of the week for company two. This way, he avoids it all because he has temporary workers. He told his current employees to take it or leave it because he has applicants ready who are desperate for a job. He did this because his accountant told him he would have to increase his prices by about $600 per house to pay the additional costs. He told me he feels badly about doing this, but felt it was the only way he could stay in business.

Obammacare may implode from its own weight. Twenty five states have opted out of setting up state health exchanges. The government will have to foot the bill and set up the exchanges, which many think they cannot do. Most states that opted out did so because the government could not tell them what they would be responsible for paying nor how much it would cost. For instance, Medicaid rates were not announced, yet the fed said the state would be responsible for paying whatever the cost ended up being. Most states balked for that reason alone.

Just wait until you see the additional taxes you and I will have to pay in order to fund this POS.

BTW, a friend's wife had some tests run the other day. Yesterday, the Dr called them in for consultation. My friend's wife panicked. Consultation usually means bad news. When they arrived, they got called back to the office where the Dr. said all was OK. My friend, although relieved, asked why they were not told this over the phone. He was told the new rules forced it to be done in the office for confidentiality reasons. My friend had to pay for another office visit. Stupid is as stupid does.

People, This is not about health care.. Those guys realize that the few who will be forced to pay for the masses who can not find employment will surely fail... That my friends is the main agenda for this country and the so called benefit to the Obama Lambs ... Anyone who has a lick of common sense can see that the already failing businesses in this disaster of an economy can not possibly take on the extreme cost to cover their employees. Obama-Care's sole purpose is to drive up the national Debt to well beyond the worth of this nation. Just look at the growing national debt and compare our nations Finances to that of your household. Can you not see where this is heading. The healthcare is only the tool so as to blame financial ruin on the citizens for thinking they wanted Free healthcare. These world leaders are not so stupid to actually think Obama-care can work. That does not include our legislative branch. Those idiots actually do not have the sense to even read the Damn Bill. They all just know it does not effect them and their families. This is the means to rush us intobankruptcybefore Obama is out of a job. I have predicted for over a year that we will go bankrupt in July 2015. And that we will never again have apresidentialelection in this country. Toco Bell has joined the group that is cutting everyone to part time except for management. emoBang A lot of good this so called "Care" is if all it does is cut peoples hours and makes them struggle even more. It will only get worse. The other thing that no one has even begun to look at is the policy that will be forced onto everyone will be worthless when it come down to what is covered. Just wait and see how much it will actually cover and what kind of "Care" you will get. Keep in mind you will have to also meet the deductable and who knows how high that will be. The assisted living clause was cut when the fiscal cliff bill passed. Several Democrat senators realized there was no way such costs could be sustained by the tax payers, so they joined the opposition to get it done. There are other issues being eyed as unsustainable and probably will be cut as time progresses. Also, there is a possibility that more states will back out of implementing state funded insurance exchanges. If enough does that, the bill will have to go back to congress for fixes. I hope the damn thing crumbles under its own weight. That would be best for the American public.
