Oct 5h Wildcard game

It looks certain that it will be the Braves and Cardinals Oct 5th in the One Game elimination wildcard playoff in Atlanta. Who wins this game and why, i have to go with my Cardinals(15 Time Word Champs), i was born in Missouri(MoBass- and have been a Cardinal Fan since i could walk. Sorry Chipper-looks like you will get to go hunting early again this year.

Not so fast their sir! The Braves have an 8.5 game lead over the Cards, which is an enormous lead. And the Braves will be pitching Kris Medlen, who the Braves have won 22 straight games that he has started... The Braves are one of the hottest teams in Baseball right now, and a much better and different team than we saw last September, and the Cards have a new manager that is in his first post season game, they don't have the experience they once did when LaRussa was at the helm!

I agree with saltyduck, they will bring their big guns with it being a one day playoff lose and your out. I look for the Braves to win it also. emoAngel Jmax

This one-game playoff is terrible. Even the worst team in baseball wins 30% of the time.

Looks like the braves lost under a protested game. I thought it was bull that the ump in the outfield called it a infield fly rule! That game will definetley go in the history books. I felt bad for chipper for comitting that error because I believe it cost them the game.
