My existing on board charger has kicked the bucket, so I am in search for a new one. Would like to hear some reviews on what others have. I would like to have a 3/30 or a 2/20(2 banks 10 amps per bank). Anybody got any advice as to the better brands? I got 2 1/2 years out of the one I have now.

Thanks
Mallard

I have a three bank- 30 Minn Kota and so far it has done as advertised. I do a lot of fishing off of the front end so everything gets a work out. The installation was easy and it maintains as well as charges. Batteries are ready to go when I am, which is daily.....

My choice would be Dual Pro. They are made in Tennessee, and they stand behind their product. I had a bank go out in mine this year. Called them on Monday carried it up to them that day, and had replacement at house on Wednesday of same week. It would have been free, but I had them upgrade it to the new system for $30, then they added a year to the warranty. They have one in their office witting in an aquarium full of water with 2 batteries hooked up to it. Might check their website out also, they sell reconditioned ones at reduced prices with a one year warranty.

The pro mariner chargers have been good for me, plus they stand behind their product. Mine is the XPS model (private label for bass pro shops) and it's about 4 years old and crapped about two weeks ago, called pro mariner to ask if there was anything i could do, knowing it's well out of warranty they said send it back and we'll either fix it or sell you a new one for 100$, i have the 3 bank 5/5/5 and it sells for 150.00 from BPS, ended up they were able to repair it, it cost me 10.00 each way shipping and that was it, plus they warranted the repair for 90 days. I'd buy another in a heart beat after that experience.

I have a 3 bank Minn Kota that I have had for around 8 or 9 years. I have had good luck with it and it seems to charge the batteries very good. I'd buy another one if mine went out.

Dual Pro reman. 2 bank has worked everydayfor the past 6 years without a hickup for me.

If Dual Pros product is as good as their customer service then it should be a great product. I got my new charger sitting on my desk right now.
