First time post and its a good one, we blasted off from soddy creek wednesday morning about 8 am, talk about foggy. I had the best day we have ever had on the chick. By 10:30 we had about 22 lbs with our best five fish, my buddy ol fastfish caught an 8.0 pounder at about 9:00, what a kicker. We had about 15 fish around 3 lbs, about , 4 fish over 4 lbs , a sack full of 2 pounders and the big one. I never would have thought it could be so good in Feb, and when the sun came out the fish shut off. Hope it is this good the next couple of weeks, it can only get better.

yes, need pictures, you cant have a day like that and not show pictures. 15 fish in the three's is a good day on any lake, especially the chick.

Fishunt, I am confussed?????emoConfused Now I am not saying "it ain't so" but you need to check your math. If you two had an eight and four over four than that would be the best five was at least 25 lbs!!!! How could you have those fish and your best five just be "about 22 lbs"emoScratch . I'd like to see some pics on this day as well. Give us a bone or two. What depth, baits, water temp,...anything????emoCool Jmax

Dang, thats a lot of fish. Just taking the numbers you reported and NOT including the "sackful of 2 pounders" you had 69lbs of fish! With blast off at 8am and by 1030 too! Two and half hours of fishing. All I can say is.....wow. Thats better than I have ever done, even in the spring.

Welcome fishunt, This story sounds fisheeey to me. emoGrouphug emoPoke emoBigsmile emoBigsmile emoBigsmile
