Guys please try to remember when backing down the ramp after dark to use your parking lights ONLY that way others can back there trailers down the ramp without being blinded by someones headlights in there mirrors...thanks ........jigheademoBang

I heard that! Unless your in Soddy and an officer of the law has an issue with that. Seen one policeman tell a guy that he needed to have his main lights on! It was the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Must have been a roooookie.

I've been back on the water now for just over a year, and have always turned off all except parking lights when on the ramp. Yesterday, the vehicle after me at the 58/ WTC ramp did the same...it's the first time that I had seen this done, other than by me. I thought that maybe he had noticed MY behavoir, and had done the same. I felt good thinking that maybe...just maybe...there ARE people out there that that think about others at the ramp.

Other than "get off the ramp" and "get off the dock", this is another BIG thing that we can all do to make the ramp areas safer and smoother.

Good post, jighead!emoThumbsup

I'll plead ignorance. As a relatively new boater I had not seen that done nor thought about it enough to do it on my own. Thanks for the good advice!
