Tune your radios to 98.1 F.M. at 4:00 and you'll hear an interview with a very talented young man who also happens to be a member on here. His name is Slaten Dooley but he goes by FISHSTICKS. He just had a big weekend. Not only did he turn 16 Saturday, he and his band played at Riverbend yesterday. He is a self taught guitarist and banjo picker. He learned to play by ear. He's had an open invitation to play at the Mountain Opry since he was 11 years old and plays there regularly with professionals. The only thing he likes better than music is bassfishing. I've had him out twice already this Spring and he's bugging me to go again.
