The wife wants me to fill and repaint the top rail of the deck where I was shooting across it sighting in my pellet rifle's scope and I forgot that the path of the pellet is considerably lower than the line of sight at just a couple of feet from the end of the barrel. Did it twice before I figured out what was happening.........................

Glad it wasn't a shotgun or deer rifle.

My stepson and I had a great time once shooting golf balls off a stump, not realizing a Kousa Dogwood was downrange... it died pretty quick....thankfully... I hate to see a plant suffer...
