Hixson Memorial Bass Club is starting something new in 2013. Our club is a blind draw format bass fishing club. We are not about winning a lot of money. If your in it for the money, this is not the club for you...Our club is about fun, fishing, and fellowship. We will not put up with a lot of fussing and cussing. It's all about fun. just a small bragging rights club, of weekend fishermen. We meet once a month Jan. thur Oct.....Fish 10 point tourn. a year, plus one 2 day classic, and have a Awards/Chirstmas dinner in the first of Dec. We give out awards for each tourn. plus end of the year honors. We have a point system in place. and 100 % of every thing that goes on in the club is voted on by all adult members.....Know one person or small group of peopledecideswhat every one else wants to do....

Anyway's in 2013 a father and youth son team can join our club and fish our tournaments along side the other members who are in the blind draw part of the club...the father and youth son will fish together in all of the tournaments that the youth child fishes in.....the child will never be put into the blind draw to fish with another person. The youth's membership fee's are half price of the father's....................If you think you might be interested in joining with your youth child please give me a call 423 421 0406 (Rick ) and I will try to explain in more detail how this will work with your child. We fill like this would be a great way to get, and let, the younger kids get into Bass tourn. fishing in a club setting. With a great bunch of good men.

Also we having rooms for a few more members if you are interested in joining----boaters and riders----but please take it to heart, this club is not about winning money.....we are all abouthavingfun and fishing...

You can call me or PM either way you want.....Tks Rick

The whole club votes on what lakes to fish the month before the tourn. date is scheduled. We can not go further than 150 miles from Chattanooga....since 2008 we have fished the following lakes.....Chickamauga, Nick-A-Jack, Guntersville, Weiss, Watts Barr.,,,,We normally try to keep it close to home because of the high fuel prices...We have even broke Chickamauga lake up into two different lakes---from Chickamauga dam to hwy 60 bridge, and from Hwy 60 bridge to Watts Barr dam....Please give me a call and I'll try to explain how this is going to work with the youths and fathers.....tks rick 4234210406

We already have several father and son teams on board for 2013. This is a great, cheaper way, than most, to get your youth involved in bass tourn fishing.....The older club members are really looking forward to seeing, and fishing alone side of these younger kids....These kids are the future of our sport.
