I can buy a brand new USA made Falcon cranking rod for under $100.00 shipped. Are these good rods for the money?

Thanks,
Bill

I have one Falcon Bucoo rod... It is a spinning rod I use for drop shot technique.... I had tried a few others and it is now my favorite. It isn't an expensive rod but I like it.

I bought a bucco 7foot 6inch casting medium action in October of last year, at academy for $110.00, very good sensitive rod, I could feel every thing on bottom. I used for worm fishing!

I like them a lot. However, they are a lighter action than what I would want for their suggested use. I have a Bucoo worm rod that is light enough for pop r and jerk baits.

The one I'm referring to is the Original series rods. The 7' medium heavy fast came in last week and I'm waiting on a 7' heavy fast that should be here Monday. Except for ABU Garcia bait cast reels, most everything else that I know of is made in China and I have to accept that but I'll take a $100.00 USA made rod over anything made in China.

Thanks for all the review's guys.

Bill

I have 3 of the originals I bought for $35 dollars each from Wal Mart 8 years ago they were closing them out. Good rod for the money. The finish on the those has held up better than some of my G. Loomis.
