out with stick steer in with foot control!!

I finally acquired , prob the best thing Ive received yet from freecycle.org , a Motorguide 56lb BRUTE 12/24 foot control, it just had loose wire and some tweaking.. they posted the motor .. I responded back within prob 5-10 mins after they offered it to give away .. gotta love the free stuff!!
I took of my old working Erude 42lb stick steer trolling motor and put it up for sale on ebay. Who says no such thing as free ?

Bigfish I think you will like that foot control. I have tried the stick steer and didn't like it. Sometimes you need both hands and still need to move the boat.

Ive had foot control b4 .. I liked it sooo much better than stick .. its just that my last boat and this one boats had it .. kept trying to find another foot I could afford new.. just couldn't convince wife to let me spend 500+ for new foot control ! when I paid 750 for one boat and 2k for the other lol .. now that Im thinking about it my last boat was a 1977, this one 86 and if this goes by the same pattern .. in less than 2yrs will have a 95 for 4k and then 2 yrs after that a 2006 for 8k emoLaugh

First time I've ever seen one mounted on the right. Don't know what difference it would make but it's the first thing that caught my eye. Enjoy it NRG.
