outcaster, Panama City Beach 3-6 miles offshore Bay, Red Snapper, Grouper, Vermillion Snapper, Seatr
Been out of town for a week or so. Working in SW GA. Met my good friend from Dothan, AL and went fishing 3-6 miles offshore. We struggled to get 4 keeper red snapper (most were shorts), and also caught several nice size vermillion snapper (beeliners). We were really lucky with the weather and sea conditions to be able to get out in his bay boat. We also came back into the bay and caught a few seatrout. We caught our offshore fish in 60 ft of water using cut squid, and used live shrimp for the trout. If any of you want to try this, PM me and I can give you GPS numbers.
