jigheads. Depending on the current, and depth of the fish, anywhere from 1/48 oz up to 1/8th oc. Most folks use 1/32 or 1/16th.

thanks spur, all i could find in my box was 1/8 oz jig heads. looks like i need a walmart tripemoDoh emoThanks

Popper, if I am fishing less than 15 feet deep and the current is not swift I always use a 1/32 oz jig head. If fishing deeper or in swift current a 1/16 is better but still doesn't catch as many fish as the 1/32ozer.

Jig heads, from 1/32 to 1/16 doing best... depending on the flow. Get the jigs with the keepers on them and you'll have a little better luck keeping the bait on the jig.
