The wife and I are considering a trip to Panama City Fl in a couple weeks, we have not been there for many years. I was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a motel on the beach. I'd appreciate a PM if you do. Thanks much.

The Holiday Inn is a nice place to stay, but pricey. They have a lot of activities around the pool throughout the day, but you can just about rent out a condo for near the same price. I havent been down there in years though

edgewater has a great place on the water and condos across the strip . ive stayed there , they are nice

Go to VRBO.COM
This stands for vacation rental by owner.
You can pick and choose from hundreds of owner condos. Lots of pictures. Can see what you get for your money.
I used it to get a place at edgewater for the 1st week of June.
You need to book in advance. Some owners mail you keys, but others can arrange for you to pick up at condo.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree about 7 times (not using VRBO of course). Nice facitlity, but you get tons more room in many of the condos for the same price, which is nice if you have a large family.

hey gator, the wife and are headed down there on the 18th - 24th. we are staying at the emerald beach resort condos. if your going down later than that, just let me know and i will try and give a little info on where to stay. hope any of this helps. emoParty emoThumbsup
