Well fellows, I see this morning that the CBA must have been hit too! What about the ramp at the Chick Dam? Can we still use that? We need to compile a list of all the Hamilton County Commissioners phone numbers and e mails and then post it on the forum for everyone to express their displeasure. In fact we need to post such a list for our State Reps, our Congress Reps Reps, Senators and Governor! This is just plain stupid! The CBA announcement does not give any explanation or reason for the change. Patrick,I assume that P&R didn't give you any justifiable reason for the old boot did they? Patrick, if you have the time would you draft a post explaining to the entire forum our dilemma and that forth coming changes will be made please? I think you would be better at it than I would and since you have dealt with P&R all this time. I would like to read it and possible add another parting shot to your commits. But I think you could write and express everyone's thoughts much better. I would not pull any punches! Blast 'em! Just flat out tell the people that the County's P&R blind sided us and has kicked us all out! I suppose that there many local clubs. planning events here that will be otherwise unaware of the new changes. So maybe such a post will make everyone aware and bring them up to speed.

Ok, I have been told that this decision was made because of the Corona virus! Was that your understanding Patrick? They don't want more than ten people gathering at the ramp!? I guess the pleasure boaters don't ever have groups of ten or more? If this was their reasoning is it a temporary decision? Tim Long was under the impression that this was just for the County parks and would not affect his night Txs. at the HB State Ramp. However he is rechecking.

Ok, I just spoke with Tim Long and he got in touch with the stat about the Wolftever and HB ramps. They do require the permit that is $100.00 but no insurance. They said they expect no other changes. Do we have time to get that permit if we want it?
