I launched at 900 this morning from the north end of the lake. I went to Silco and fished points and rock walls with two short fish. One on a shaky head and another on a football jig that is on loan from RangerRob. Around 100 I went down river to fish a ledge with the jig but no takers. I switched to a flippin jig and had one bite but she came unbutton before I ever got a look at her. I picked up my chatterbait (which I have only fished one time before) and started down a sunny bank leading to a long point. Almost to the end to the point, the Kistler loads and I set the hook. 3-09lbs. All of a sudden I like the chatterbait!emoLaugh It was time for me to put it on the trailer at this point so I called it a day and headed home.

thanks JDEES,what was the water LEVEL like?can you still use the king's slough ramp?

The lake appears to be down about 1-2 feet. They were pulling water hard all day yesterday so I am sure the botton is going to fall out over the next week or so. I am not sure about Kings Slough I have never launched from there.
