I'm not sure what makes me keep going back there,The challenge of new water, the beauty of the place, the upcoming tournament. At any rate it's not the huge amount of fish I catch that's fo shizzle.I got on the water at about 10:30,the water temp was 48-50 deg. everywhere I fished.I don't know the names of the creeks yet but I started at the creek that has a ski course in it and a rope swing.I caught one small spot on a drop shot and saw another big spot sunning itself in about a foot of water but I couldn't get it to bite anything. For some reason there was a lot of boats right across the lake from the ramp on a steep bank,I don't know if they were bass fishing or not but I didn't see anyone catch anything while I was idleing past.I fished main lake points mostly but did get back into a few coves from time to time to get out of the wind (friggin terrible today!) only two bites today with both fish caught (both little spots, both on drop-shot)water was very very low and I had a hard time getting the boat out of the water but still alot better than working! Also got to see a "controlled burn" that kind of freaked me out,I knew the forest wasn't burning when I got there so on the way back up the lake I round the bend and a big wall of smoke hits me I was a little surprised! The entire vally was filled with smoke. If any of you guy's have any tips to fishing this lake I would be forever in your debt!

Ahhh ... a day on P'ville fo shizzle. Sorry you didn't have a better day, my nizzle!

I may not go back until the water warms / rises. Give me a shout the next time you're thinking of going and I may just join you ... then we can be frustrated together!
