It was September 18th 2006 when I figured I would try out Parksville Lake in Ocoee, Tn for some spots to noodle and here is a pic of a 28lb Flatty I caught by the end of the day, I did catch a couple more blues, 5&8lbs. I caught it at some rocks just west of the new boat ramp. I was really surprised to see a fish this size come out of the rocks because the bigger ones are usually around the boat ramps. It was absolutley the meanest flatty I have ever took by hand. I was manuvering him out of the hole for 30 minutes and he was chewing on my fingers for 20 of them, LOL!!! I have never seen any really big cats come out of this lake but their is definatley 1 still in there. I have already been working on some things for the lake this year so I will keep everyone up-to-date with as many pics as I can form my ventures there this summer.

So whats the plan when one of those 200lb. aligator snappers gets your hand?

Great fish keep the reports coming!

That is AWESOME man. My neighbor (High5) caught some nice flatties on those same rocks last year...so they are there for sure...I think Im gonna have to give that lake a try for the big flatheads and see if there are any big blues in there too....:)

Marty and Fostana are my teachers I guess you could say. I work with them both and they are responsible for my addiction emoBang . I am a lightweight compared to them though, this is Marty's 26th year of noodling!!! Wow!

Hey you butterhead.... Go back to work and quit loafing on here!  Just cause you get to loaf on the puter all day don't make no sign you can have fun at it!
