Got out with Shane this evening around 7PM... we had a game plan, to go and get on some topwater using toads while it was light... then fish points using texas rig when it got dark. Planned to fish all night if the bite was good.</p>
The topwater bite was okay tonight, not great... landed only 4 bass. 3 spots and a largemouth. All keepers. Big fish was a 3lb 12oz largemouth... off the toad back in a cove of course! All fish landed before dark. Night fishing still sucks up at Parksville. I've fished on full moon nights and have not done well up there.
Fish points, banks, bluffs, etc... with spinnerbaits, worms rigged in all different ways. I just don't get it. Parksville is not a night fishing lake! </p>
