Parksville - Pre-storm Bass - 5/26/08 - Pic

Got out with Shane around 5PM... many boats this afternoon, we hid back in the coves and threw toads... We fished about an hour and half, the bite wasn't great. Landed 3 bass... 2 largemouth and a spot. 1 keeper largemouth and the spot was a keeper also. Headed back home as we recieved a call saying that the clouds look bad in Cleveland... It wasn't much. Missed about another 4 bass on the toad... all 4 missed the bait as they went for it.

Nice fish Crazy, you are the Toadman. You should call up Zoom and get on there prostaff, I just couldnt resist I broke down today and bought a pack of those toads at walmart. You talked me right into it. Somebody that lives in soddy is buying up all the Toads at Soddy custom tackle I went in there lookng for a certain color and they sold em right out. Somebody is buying em all up, must be reading your reports.

How do we get up there, I don't have the drivers license yet... Is Taylor telling you how to get that 10 + lb bag up there? 

The way he was fishing was good when he got the 16lb bag... but it seems to be that the largemouth are moving back into the shallows...???? I've seen some good ones.

Yo momma man then we can get out on the water hopefully. They are moving shallow again to feed. A senko would work right now real well.

Yep, that sounds about right... When the water rises, the shad move shallow. And the post-spawn largemouth don't have much to feed on in deep water when the shad are shallow... Didn't think of that 'til I just read your post.
Mark S. caught a largemouth out of a school of spots that were on shad last Thursday... so that is a sign.

Kevin take your moon charts about ever half and full moon they go up to feed but the go in phases so you could pound the bank right now till july probably. But parksville doesnt warm up that fast soo.
