parkville lake

whats the best time to go to Parkville and whats the best ramp to use, be either coming from chatt or Dayton one whichever the quickest way for me. wanting to target spotted bass.

Really not but two choices on ramps. I like kings slough but it is a gravel parking lot and can be dusty. The ramp over at the hwy is fine but a longer drive for me.

I am no parksville expert at all but from what I know it is kind of hit or miss. I hear they are biting well in the late evening and even some good top water action.

I have been there and caught a boat load of spots and go back in a few days and get skunked. It can be tough. Clear deep water in most of the lake. It is super shallow on the upper end. My advise is stay away from anything south of the hwy ramp.

very pretty lake.. I enjoy going there.

right now it has been very good mid day from like 11-4pm the more wind the better drop shot has been really good all summer long and even now not sure when or if they will be dropping the water but if its down king slough is basic out of service when water is down good luck and report back I will be up there tomorrow so if you see a white triton stop and say hello

by then depending on the water temps still should be good and fall-winter is really good time to catch some good fish up there
