PaulJ got a new toy today....

I went down to the Atlanta Ga area today with PaulJ to pick up his new toy. He has had a time with his boat this past year and decided to go ahead and bite the bullet on a new one. After shopping around and getting several prices from several dealers he settled on a new 250 ZX 21' foot Skeeter with a new 250 H.P. Yamaha. Man that is a sweet boat even to a Ranger buff. emoWorthy It is white and red with black trim, I told him I love the colors and Razorback red has always been one on my favorite. emoPoke I thought he was going to make me walk home and told me in short that it was Ga Bull Dogs colors not Arkansas Hogs. emoEvil We took it to the lake and broke it in for an hour and a half. After that he was allowed to see what it would do for a minute at a time. We got her right up to 75 MPH no problem before he backed off. That thing has one heck of a big deck on the front. You could land a helicopter on it. If you see him check it out.

Maybe Paul will post a couple pictures. However he told me today he liked the idea of no one knowing who he was on the water so maybe not. emoRolleyes Jmax

emoEvil yep.......This coming weekend everyone in the TN Valley Club will see it anyways so it will be out. They have their first tournament for the new year this weekend and he is going to have it broke in by then. emoCool Jmax

I found a picture of his boat, not a good one but a picture none the less. Well...heck! I could not get the one of his to come up but here is what it looks like, his is just red and white with black trim but this is his modle.

No, I still like my Rangers. Paul is blaming it on me cause we have been talking about buying a new boat for a year now. Problem is I will still be talking about it probably years from now but Paul had to go out and do it. emoScratch I "wish talk" about it...he does it. It is a very nice boat and rides extremely well. That 21 foot hull with a 250 on the back is sweet. If I had my dream ride I would get a Ranger Z20 or Z21 fully rigged with all the bells and whistles. We saw one that was all medal flake in black and silver down at Dalton Marine. emoEek I wanted that one but I am too cheap. emoBigsmile

He will love it, Trev and I went to Airport Marine in Alabaster , Al. last friday and picked up our new Skeeter ZX 225, It fits us to the tee! We tought the 20' w/225hp setup would be better on fuel and with the same performance. Still in breakin mode now, we have a couple more hours before we can let her lose!
