You could always pay out fewer places. 6 places for 20 boats seems like too many. I would pay three places for 20 boats.

I like that format. Paying out that many places may encourage more boats to sign up. Give others more of a chance to get in to some money. My 2 cents worth there....

I just think paying so many places takes away from the winners. 3 places is plenty for 20 boats. JMO.</p>

If its gonna be something to attract boaters with as tough as this lake can be, gas prices and just the competition level, I think Damon's payout off 80 bucks is killer! Its just the opposite of the Traditions Trail...low entry with less places.

What I am trying to do with this payout format and 3 fish limit is to attract as many people as I can to fish.I want to see every team that fishes get in the money.I know that may not happen but I also dont think the 20 boat payout will not be an issue judging from the phone calls I have recieved over the weekend and today.If I have 26 boats that fish that would be an extra $420 that I will add to the 6 places. I would love to see each of you come out for the first one and give it a try.If you have not fished a tournament with me before I can assure you that I run a very professional tournament and I always try to make the weighins fun and exciting!

I like the pay out you have put together. I agree. I think it will attract more boats to fish. I wouldn't change a thing. If every DF payed out 6 places I might actually score some gas money every now and then.
Just so you know I plan on fishing as many as my schedule will allow.

My comments were only a suggestion. We probably won't be in the money either way. I plan to fish them anyway. I think it was a good idea and I'm glad you are doing it.
